Remove sun tan at home
We all dread the harmful rays of the sun especially in summers. They cause skin darkening, pigmentation, blemishes, dark spots, etc. It is not always possible to cover the entire body when stepping out. Follow these simple remedies to get rid of sun tan at home
1. Lemon juice
Lemon is known for its bleaching properties. Slice a lemon and apply its juice on the tanned areas. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Do it regularly to get rid of tanning.
2. Bengal gram flour and turmeric
Mix two table spoons of bengal gram flour with two-three pinches of turmeric. Apply it on the tanned areas and gently rub it. Remove when dry. It provides exfoliation to the skin.
3. Cucumber juice, lemon juice and rose water
Squeeze out the juice of one lemon and combine it with one tablespoon of cucumber extract. Add one teaspoon of rose water to it and mix well. Apply this on the tanned areas and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
4. Oatmeal and yogurt
Mix two tablespoons of yogurt with one tablespoon of yogurt. Now add one teaspoon of honey to it. Mix well. Add more yogurt if the mixture is too thick. Apply it on the tanned areas and rub gently. Remove with cold water.
