How to stay healthy and fresh in summer
Most people do not like the summertime since this season brings with it a whole lot of problems. From the very beginning of summer there are onsets of skin problems, hair problems as well as health problems. The skin gets irritated easily and there are problems galore like rashes, sun burn and son on to name a few. The scalp remains sweaty throughout the day leading to hair problems like dandruff and hair fall. General health also deteriorates in the summer months due to the extreme heat that causes the body to sweat profusely resulting in water loss, dehydration, stomach problems and so on.
Since you cannot control the seasons, you would have to make sure that you stay healthy during all the changing seasons. And for that you would have to take care of your skin, hair as well as your overall health in general. - Drink lots and lost of fluid. You must have heard this a thousand times from beauticians as well as doctors. And it is indeed an advice that has no replacement. The heat rids your body system of fluids during the summer leading to all kinds of health problems along with skin and hair problems as well. It is thus important to keep supplying your body with fluids to maintain the fluid balance. It is not necessary to drink water instead you can have fruit juices or also whole fruits that have high water contents like water melon, cucumber.
- Avoid spicy and junk food as much as possible. Summer makes your body heated up like everything else in the surroundings. Hence your heated up digestive system would face problems digesting the spicy and oily food that is easily done during the winters. The summer months also sees all kinds of ailments like diarrhea increasing. Hence it would pay off to be careful what you put into your mouth and eventually into your digestive system.
- Keep your body cool by bathing in cool water regularly and if possible at least twice a day. Do not use very cold water although it feels great on the heated body. It might cause you to catch a cold. To stay fresh pour a few drops of lavender oil into your bath water and freshen up.
